Abisodun Community Joins Innercity Mission of Christ Embassy Mowe to Send Portions at Christmas

The Abisodun Community, Mowe, Ogun State, joyfully partnered with Christ Embassy Mowe, Champions Arena Group to celebrate the spirit of Christmas through a heart-warming event themed “Celebrating Angels at Christmas.”
The celebration was marked by an atmosphere of love, unity, and gratitude as members of the  community and the church came together t to bring hope, kindness, and support to Abisodun community during the Christmas season.
Through songs, prayers, presentations, and goodwill activities, the event highlighted the true meaning of Christmas: love, giving, and service to humanity. It also served as a platform to strengthen the bond between Christ Embassy Mowe and the Abisodun Community, fostering harmony and shared values.

The Christmas season is a time of great joy and celebration, it is the season to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Chris. It is indeed a time to eat the fat and drink the sweet, but the Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome admonishes us to do something more, send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. Nehemiah 8:10b [NLB] says ‘…go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks and share gift of food with people who have nothing prepared.’

What Is Send Portions Campaign was launched during the yuletide of 2008 the Send Portions Campaign is a special feeding outreach to children in the inner cities. It has so far been conducted in hundreds of inner -city communities all over Lagos and in cities across Nigeria and in parts of Africa.
In addition to feeding children in inner cities, orphanages, hospitals and related institutions that cater for children in need are visited and Food Boxes to needy families with children living in very poor conditions are distributed.

Community leaders and church representatives expressed appreciation for the collaboration, noting that such partnerships promote peace, spiritual growth, and social responsibility. The celebration reminded everyone present that Christmas is not only about festivities, but about becoming a blessing to others.

The event concluded with moments of joy, fellowship, and renewed commitment to spreading love and compassion beyond the season. Over 1,000 packs of Food was distributed to children and adults especially women. I million Naira was distributed to 100 widows. There was also a medical outreach with medical personnels who conducted free testing, diagnosis and distribution of free drugs for about 300 people.
