Eid-El Maulud: Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa Facilitate With Muslims, Calls For Prayers For The Nation

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, National Chairman, has sent a goodwill message to Muslims to facilitate with them as they celebrate Eid-El Maulud.
APGA National Chairman sent the Warm and Heartfelt Happy Eid-Al-Adha Wishes to All our Muslim Brothers and Sisters across Nigeria at these trying times in the Country.
Ezeokenwa, enjoined the Muslim in Nigeria to use the period to reflect and seek Allah’s intervention on the many challenges of our dear country.
He said, “I heartily felicitate with all the Muslim Faithful in Nigeria, as they celebrate the Eid-El Maulud, to honour the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
“On behalf of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), National Chairman, facilitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate Eid-Al-Adha, a significant festival in the Islamic calendar.
“As we join you in this joyous occasion, we acknowledge the values of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion that are at the core of the Islamic faith”.
APGA boss said, the ceremony once again provides us with an opportunity for sober reflections as we seek the prophet’s intercessions for divine intervention on the many challenges facing our nation on all fronts.
“Nigeria has continued to contend with many challenges, some of which are obvious disunity among the people, extreme poverty, a high rate of unemployment, and a high level of insecurity”.
“Let us, today, pray for lasting peace in our nation, and in keeping with the Holy Prophet’s teachings, continually extend brotherly love to our countrymen and women, especially the poor, in our midst irrespective of their tribe or religious beliefs”, he urges.
The Chairman prayed that May these values continue to inspire and guide us all, as we strive for a more harmonious, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
“On this special day also, we pray for a more united and sustained Nigeria, where every citizen can live in peace, dignity and prosperity”.
“We remember the less privileged and those in need, and we urge all Nigerians to extend a hand of kindness and support to them”.
“In these trying times, we recognize the significance of this sacred occasion, which symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, and devotion. We pray that the values of this festival bring comfort, hope and strength to all Nigerians”.
